In September 2007, when briefcase-clad suits made their way to work near Old Street on Mondays, they unknowingly walked over a banging club tucked deep underground, chock-full of fashionable club goers still wildly clinging on to the weekend. Sunday nights (and Monday mornings, consequently) in London have been irrevocably changed since thanks to the notorious, unstoppable Wetyourself crew. The artistic trio behind the WYS phenomenon – DJs, promoters and producers Jacob Husley, Peter Pixzel and Cormac – consistently smash Sundays by booking stand out DJs from the local scene, alongside techno, house and electro luminaries from around the globe. The seemingly unending list of DJs that have performed at their cult-followed night is staggering, a veritable who’s-who of dance music: Miss Kittin, Gaiser, Ellen Alien,DJ Hell, Chris Liebing, Style Of Eye, Argy, Martinez, Oliver Koletski, Marc Houle, Ben klock, Marcel Dettman, Anton Piette,Hannah Holland, Skull Juice, Zombie Disco Squad, Sweat X, Pig & Dan, The Hacker, Mr Oizo, Sascha Funke, John Acquaviva, Matt Walsh, Rex The Dog, Severino , Tim Paris, the list goes on.. The formula stays incredible, with the trio moving to the world famous fabric club in February 2009. The guys have brought a unique intimacy to one of the worlds biggest and best known venues, reigniting Sunday night clubbing for those who truley know and love their music.. Teaming up with Altino Fernades (aka KID AM) to join the infamous Brickbeat collective, it wasn’t long before Unai started to throw his own free-spirited warehouse parties, called Cartuli’s Day. With a deeply passionate spirit for pushing solid underground house, the burgeoning reputation of Cartuli’s Day has won music-loving fans across the globe. Combined with Unai’s slick production skills including the recent ‘Entre Encinas’ on Release Sustain, we’re putting all on our cards on the table and saying that his is a talent to keep your eyes on.
